Buying online...
If I decide to buy online, I think I would prefer to do business with a store that also has a showroom (i.e. physical store). I may be wrong but it seem there could be less chance of getting scammed. I'd like to find out about some dealers on TRF, but so far it seems to me that these are individuals without a storefront or website, so it's more difficult for me to window shop. Maybe I just need more time and research to sort them out.
Anyone done business with any of these places: - Alan Furman - Stein Diamonds - Swiss Time (Portland, ME) |

Been in Alan Furman, to check out watches. Very legit business. That said, you can get better prices with sellers here.

Everything else equal (or close to equal) with regard to watch authenticity, paperwork and condition, etc., would it be better to look at online sellers with "lifetime" warranty? I haven't seen sellers on this board offer that.
