Rolex store coming soon!
Walked into the mall today and saw a 20X20 store front poster for a Rolex store 2010. I never seen a Rolex retail store in a mall. Has anyone else seen these popping up. I'll check it out once it opens. Can't figure out how to post iPhone pic right now.

Although I have yet to see one, I believe a number of people on TRF have talked about them on this forum.

Neither have I. I've seen mall jewelry stores that carry the Rolex line, but never a dedicated Rolex only mall store.

Sounds nice that a Rolex store will be opening up near you at a mall. The question will be whether they offer a discount off the retail price to you like many ADs do or will they be charging full retail!!!

I believe MSRP only at the "Rolex Store" which is owned and operated by AD. The Rolex store in South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA is run and operated by Baron & Leeds.

So is it owned by Rolex, or just a Rolex exclusive private AD? The only AD in Brisbane is Rolex only and has Rolex signs out front, but is still just a private AD that is manufacture exclusive.

You are either very lucky or very unlucky depending on how you look at it... Lucky to be able to see all the new ROlex at yet another location... Unlucky for the same reason May get expensive

Here in San Francisco the Rolex boutique opens this week. It's essentially a smaller satellite store of Tourneau which has their larger store right next to it. I guess Rolex wants to display their product very specifically, and in a unique environment. It's deep green, with warm wood accents, and nice finishes- marble, etc. It's a rather small store, but cool none the less.

Tourneau store in King of Prussia Pa mall is making a separate Rolex section in the one corner of the store. Should be open early November. The salesman didn't know if they are going to sell Rolexes or if Rolex will put sales people in there.

No discounts from what I've been told.
Similar to boutiques. It will be nice to visit as I'm sure they will have a stellar selection but no way would I buy there.

Boutique stores
There is one in south calif at the south coast plaza. Called boutiques, they typically have special editions made just for these locations, to seperate them from local A D 's. examples are IWC and A P boutiques in beverly hills....watch for grand opening parties, and other special sales events

There is an Omega "boutique" opening soon at a mall in Nashville...never seen a Rolex one. Would be a pretty cool place to kill some time and check out all the latest models.
