A Question about an old President

Hi everyone, I brought a vintage Day Date about 5 years ago and I have sent it away recently to be valued for insurance. I was wondering how rare this watch is to find now days, I thought it was a good find when I saw it for sale so I bought it as my first Rolex. I love the watch, it still looks like new after over 50 years and I also like the idea that it is an investment that will hold its value well.
The watch is a YG Day Date from 1958, it has a president braclet, black face and a smooth bezel. It has its original box, instructions and hanky and it was last serviced in 2003 by Rolex.
I will post some pictures when I get it back in a couple of days.
Thanks,
Fred.

I've got one of those buckle top president boxes laying around but its from 1984, could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they weren't from the 50s.

Thanks for the feedback, is the box realy not the same age as the watch? I just had a valuation for insurance and it didnt mention it. The valuation has given me some peace of mind though, at least I know the watch is genuine.

I honestly don't know, I do know that the box was made in 1984 because the box I have still has the original receipt from 1984 in it, but I don't at all know if they were made that far back.
