Buyers in Perth, Australia?

Hi all

I'm heading to Perth, Australia in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone can recommend a dealer who buys Rolex?

I'll be flying in from Singapore with a few watches to sell.

Any advice would be welcome.

Thank you.

Richard

Hi Richard & welcome to the TRF.
If you're arriving with afew watches, I'd be wary about customs here at the airport.
Could contact Dalip who resides here in Perth, but your prices have to be pretty sharp, best of luck

Hi Des & Dalip

Thanks for getting back to me.

I'll maybe have a new Milgauss GV with me and a 2-month old 36mm Explorer I and both will be tax-paid, so bringing them in might be OK.

If there's a new ceramic Submariner at the airport... I might just grab it! (Chances will be slim though...)

Thanks again and if you know of any secondhand watch dealers in Perth, that would be great.

Best wishes

Richard

Hi Richard,
If you wish to sell it's ~wholesale price and if purchased in SG and want to sell in Aust, the exchange rate is 1:1.30+- something to think about

I might have a new Milgauss GV to sell and I understand the full local retail price is AUS$9,250.

I just want to make sure it's worth the hassle and then making sure I find a buyer... I'd like to keep the GV but it might be better to sell it. I have 2 watches at the moment and that's kind of enough!

One would be crazy to believe and accept the RRP of Rolex in Australia. Not even fools would accept those prices

I guess around AUS$8,600 is more like it... Not sure if it's worth the hassle...

Darren very kindly replied but he has enough stock right now.

If I can find a private buyer for a new GV, then it might be worth it still. But there's no point spending my holiday running around and fretting!

Thanks for your comments and advice.

Hi Richard,
There's much more to do in WA than run around and fret.
If you're into golf, horse racing, great weather, beers/wines, good food (at a premium) then you've come to the right place.
If you need some tips on where to go and what to do, pl drop me a pm, might be dangerous, but well worth it.

I'll be fine with my mate and his family - plenty of food and wine and beer too!

Thanks for the offer though!
