Place to verify a rolex watch in chicago

Hi guys.

I'm new here and I'm looking for a reliable place to verify the genuinity of a rolex in Chicago.

Can someone suggest a place and let me know roughly how much it would take to have a rolex verified?

Thanks

A few of the CD Peacock stores have an in house Rolex watchmaker including Oakbrook and Northbrook, also many places downtown on 'Jewelers Row' such as Howard Frum, or there's even an Authorized Rolex Repair Center named Sutter's on North Michigan Ave.

Where are you located?

I would go CDPeacock in Oakbrook.

Look for Gabe.

thank you guys. I work at downtown, so it would be easier to go to a place near by. How much would it cost for them to look at it?

One of my AD's in Indiana have good things to say about Howard Frum in Chicago. I have not been there but again, have heard good things. Not sure how much he will charge to check it out.

I called around to a few places in Chicago for an appraisal last month and the going rate seemd to be around $70. Part of the process is to open up & verify the watch.

Either Howard Frum or New York Jewelers on Wabash can do it. Thanks to whomever mentioned Sutters service center...I didn't know about them.

You can go to Fine Swiss Watch Repair on 55 E Washington Street. Their phone number is (312)658-0602. The owner is a Rolex Certified Watchmaker, nice guy and he'll open the watch for you for free.

if they charge for checking if the watch is genuine, then that should include the pressure test, right?
