Vintage Tudor Submariner Snowflake
Hi guys, I recebtly aquired a Tudor Sub Snowflake from 1970, at least from the serial number (he watch is in very good conditiond (blue) and the movement seerms to keep track very good (no deviation in 3 days wristtime...).
The watch has a Oyster Rolex bracelet, and I think the last owner (who bought it new) mentioned he had replaced the old one going bust. Does anyone know if the old Tudors were equipment with Tudor bracelets, or could this actulaly be the original one ? Thanks |

I think the original bracelet was a folded link 9135 [same as Rolex], 380 end links, and Tudor clasp. I have an updated Rolex 91350 on my snowflake. dP

The watch is from 1970, was it normal to equip these watches with the roulette date wheel ? I really like that feature.

Silver date sounds nice too..
Thanks for the info. Is these Tudors "rare" or pretty easy to get hold on ? |

I had a 1993 79190 Tudor Submariner with rolex bracelet - I believe that was the last year they used the rolex bracelet (?).

They are available but a bit harder to source compared to preloved Rolex Subs. dP

Nice snowflake you have there. I really love these subs. What are the first three #'s in your serial? It will be easier to get an approx. year. 1970 seems a little early. I believe only the 7021 reference had the roulette date wheel from the factory, and not the 9411/0. Unless of course it was installed at a later date, as they are interchangable. Jeff |
