6265 case back question
I am looking at 6265 Daytona from 1983 the back of the case back show 6263 and the patented is etched out is this normal

etched out in 83'ish is normal...rolex lost the patent (it ran out) so could no longer have this printed..some old stock they crossed out like you show...
6263 with 6265 or visa versa etc not uncommon at all. |

Yes it's correct, as you can find caseback 5512 for 5513, or caseback 6239 for 6240 and so on...
