Not sure which type of attraction you are referring too... the attraction for me would be a nice vintage with an evenly faded insert that compliments and equally nicely aged dial and hands.

Lots of faded inserts for sale here and elsewhere at a bit of a premium. Clearly people are putting aged inserts on watches that dont have a faded insert. The suspicious side of me really wonders how many may be "prematurely aged" by creative vendors....
