Tunacan26's Poll
Black Dial TT Daytona or Black Dial Tudor Heritage....
"Anyway, I am on the fence about this. My next purchase (hopefully SOON, need to sell a watch first) will be either a pre-loved TT black dial Daytona or a black dial Tudor Heritage. The Daytona is of course a beautiful watch, and a ROLEX. I'm not worried about the relative non-popularity of the TT, I wear stuff I like, not others. I love the look of the Tudor (I'm quite the baseball fan), and I also like the fact that it's a bit larger, 42 mm., than my Sub-C. Resale advice not withstanding -- I suspect the Daytona would be much easier to sell -- just curious on the thoughts of you re. my quandry. I know I know, which one makes your heart sing the most.... I'm torn I tell ya, torn. If anyone has both, a side by side photo would sure be cool to see. Thanks, Chuck" Last edited by train-time; 24 November 2010 at 10:31 AM.. Reason: spelling error |

I have a SS Daytona White Dial, and I wouldn't mind getting a Tudor Black Dial in the Prince, Tiger, or Big Block versions.
However I personally don't like the look of the Tudor Heritage version. |

Not a fan of the modern Daytona especially the limited option two dial S.Steel so I would choose the Tudor Heritage.

Daytona for me.
As for not a fan of the modern Daytona... It I'd abit of a catch 22 issue IMO. It is either you are at the right place and right time to be able to acquire a vintage Daytona (for cheap/within your budget/inherited etc) or the next best thing is the modern Daytona with the in house movement. For me, it was the 2nd option, hence I have a 116520. Honestly, I'd have a 3570.50 over the Tudor Heritage Chrono. |

I`m gonna be in minority here, but my choice would be Tudor in a heartbeat, simply because of design that recalls some distant, better times...

I just like the Daytona better and I could not see the small date on the Tudor anyway
