How many of you actually use the GMT hand on the GMTIIc?

Just wondering how many people actually use the green GMT hand on their GMT Rolex... I tried on of these on before and loved it. Currently, I am in the market for a Sub-C but I fell the GMT would definitley be my next choice. Love the polished center links and the bezel!

I've traveled to other time zones, and still haven't used the other hand. BUT I do love the watch!

Hardly ever use the GMT hand on my 16760 or PAM0029. Still, it's nice to know it's there if ever I do need it!

I second that! When I had a GMT it was always set to Sydney time...

So how exactly does it work? It just follows exactly behind the hour Hans but a few hours back?

It does not follow the hour hand persay...
The 24 hour hand is exactly that...It rotates around the dial only once in a 24 hour period!(following the bezel numbers)
Where as the hour hand makes two full revolutions in 24 hours(following the dial numbers). As in 12 am to 12 pm,12pm to 12 am.

If you set it to local time it comes in handy after a big night out because the following Monday, if its 8AM you know to go to work, while if its 8PM you know to look for a new job.

I work outside the US, so I have the 24 hour hand set to "home" time, and the 12 hour hand set to the time zone where I'm at.

With family members and friends all over the world, it is unfair for me to target an individual to hassle by using the GMT hand....

So I have multiple world time setup in the iPhone

(in all seriousness - it isn't difficult to work out the time in your head really... Australia is 11 hours ahead and Greece is 2 hours ahead of The UK... these are the 2 countries we call regularly )

Well I would say the GMTs a little bit more that what the Sub and all diving watches are used underwater.

The GMT hand is very useful as I have to synch with several workgroups in three time zones to the east in Europe and the Middle East.
