Roadcarver!
Vernon... this one is for you.
I saw Blood Diamond last night. Good movie. Really enjoyed it. However, it made me miss my Chrono Avenger. Can't think of a much tougher watch than that one!! The question is... was this watch available in 1999 when the story takes place??

Great pics, Chip....and a superb movie that was. Did notice the Breitling throughout the run of the film!!

I have seen one at some point with a blue shark and it looked awesome if you can stomach all the blue.

This is obviously a different model, but the Avenger would look kinda cool too.

It's a Thermo Compensated SuperQuartz.
Even Rolex made Quartz watches. Sometime a watch calls for features that no mechanical movement can provide.

I find quartz watches as interesting as mechanical ones, but from a different, more scientific point of view. And there are some great quartz watches out there.
