Off the wrist I think she's one of the most beautiful watches ever made.
Sadly I do think think she's a monstrosity on it

Yup, no offence to any 341 owners, but other than a pic of Schartzenger wearing it, I think it looks pretty illy on 9 out of 10 other wrists.

Not if its hanging on a wall somewhere. But if you like it, that's all that matters.

Here's another picture to give you an idea of how it looks to most people. I think the classic up close wrist shot makes it look much worse than it really does. If this is your idea of a monstrosity, then we clearly have different definitions of the word. :) For reference, I'm 5'9" 175lbs.

Say what you want, but it simply is the beauty AND the beast. I'm actually glad it's not universally loved. I'm a polarizing person and I like things that make a statement. No milk toast.

Not to offend any owners but that watch looks like a joke to me (and I like Panerai's...). I understand the point of making a copy/re-issue a cult classic made in 1956 for the Egyptian Commandos and I guess they should get some kudos for at least making it titanium and putting their in-house movement in there, but still a 60mm case in a $30K+ watch that isn't even very attractive....

Honestly, I'm glad some people like it - different tastes is what makes this world beautiful - but it certainly not for me.

Well, I'm glad you're honest and I honestly am glad you don't like it. I appreciate it more because of that. However, if you truly don't mean to offend anyone, saying things like " that watch looks like a joke" probably isn't the best way to do it. :) But I'm not offended. And thanks for depleting the Sly pic--he's killing it!

As I said, I don't mean to offend but those were honestly the thoughts passing through my head and I'm fairly sure that I'm not alone. So like it or not, that is the impression you will get from a certain segment of the population wearing that watch.

Yes, I heard you the first time. :) what I was trying to tell you is that just because you preface something with "I don't mean to offend," your comments can still offend if you use words that some will find offensive. That was all. Kind of like saying, "I don't mean to offend, but your car/dog/shoes/hat are a joke, I mean, I'm just being honest."

I truly don't mind what you said. My wife even calls it my "clown watch". But I have gotten at least 6 spontaneous, "I love THAT watch" from friends and strangers alike. It's definitely polarizing for sure, but so far a lot more people love it than laugh at it. But the only thing that matters is that I think it's awesome. And I am more than happy I didn't let all the naysayers talk me out of it. I have a hard time wearing the other 3 awesome Pams in my collection because i want to wear this one all the time.

I would consider buying one if the size was more suited to my wrist size. I think it looks good, just far too large for me.

i think you used poor choice of words in your post... the watch is not a joke if you like it or dont like it. thats like me calling a watch you own a joke and that would deff be rude of me to say.

I think it looks very good. It may not fit everyone's wrist but IMHO that doesn't detract from its attractiveness. Great watch!

(Incidentally, I think it looks fantastic on Sly).

Love, love, love this watch. Hated it at first; time and seeing it in the flesh has cured me.

Now I have to have one.

Fascinating reference but too big for my 7.25" wrist.
I do think it looks great on the soon to be former governor of CA.
