Oris anyone?
I am looking for a new daily wearer, I can not wear the Daytona anymore (too many looks, too many scratches etc)
I want something nice, decent price and of course automatic movement, Ive been eyeing some invictas, But that wont cut it. Ive found a few Oris watches in the $600 range (new, I cant locate used ones which I would rather for a cheaper price) Here is what I am looking at I just wanted to know if anyone has experience with these watches and what their opinions are. or a PVD |

No experience with them, Sol....but I know for a fact that they are excellent value for money and very tough and solidly built.
Go for it!!

I have an Oris, one of the original Williams F1 limited edition chronograph watches from a few years ago.
I really like the watch. It is probably my second favorite watch, even though I've given up on the Williams F1 Team. One of the surprising things about it is that Oris rubber straps have a very pleasant, albeit hardly noticable, vanilla scent. others have commented on how nice that is, and I really did not appreciate it until I bought a rubber strap for one of my watches and it had a less pleasing scent (chemical/industrial/rubber). I have been very impressed with the quality of the watch and I think the design and attention to detail is as nice if not better than much more expensive Swiss watches. If you are a Williams F1 fan, an Oris Williams watch it is an extra nice piece. I got a compliment on my Williams F1 Oris watch from a Ferrari fan I sat next to one year at the Canadian Grand Prix, and also bumped into a German F1 fan at the US Grand Prix one year who was wearing the same limited edition watch (as I recall he had a much lower serial number than mine). |

Thanks for the quick review, I am not a fan of racing (I do own a BMW though) I just wonder how good these watches are (does it keep time well? does it handle some abuse? etc)
I have found a nice one preowned (PVD model shown above) Theres something about an all black watch, I cant stop thinking about it! |
