The psychologist in me and the internet marketer in me (and I've been both) compels a brief editorial. ...
All of these duplicate threads regarding the now-famous auction may actually and paradoxically be very healthy for this forum because of what internet marketers term "natural search" -- i.e., website content that boosts search engine rankings because it corresponds to information people are seeking. In this case, the big news in the watch world this past week was obviously that auction, a phenomenon that engenders trending activity in the search engines. And the more mentions of a trending topic on a web site, the better its search engine rankings, which then translates into more exposure for the web site, and then ultimately more members and more income (for trusted sellers, in this case), and so on. For that reason, despite the irritation factor, every time somebody posts again about this relevant trending topic -- and in the Rolex world, hot trending topics are far and few between -- that can actually ultimately encourage very healthy outcomes for the site. |

I noticed the hodinkee link earlier this week, however they have updated the posting with some rather cool pics.
There are some pictures with bob ( Big crown watch owner ) scuba diving, and doing dishes with Christopher reeve. |
