People (collectors) are buying the 16610 LV subs

Just came across this big second hand dealers website and was looking at which Rolexes he had for sale.

When looking at his submariners I was amazed that 3 ot the 4 green subs he's selling are on hold

Here in Switzerland, you can have plenty of them, nothing on hold....

I really was surpised how many 16610LV are for sale currently.

As always: It depends! (This has been the standard answer of my finance professor when we students asked a question...)

I know, besides if 1 (big) secondhand dealer has 4 of them they are not that difficult to find but what surprised me is that 3 of the 4 are on hold

Yes the Internet is a wonderful place for Rolex hype and to drive the prices up.But would doubt if the LV would be considered a must have collectible by the serious Rolex collector.
