Icon2 So my wife sent me this email today on her way to the bank....

She was dropping off my Daytona in the safe deposit box for a couple of weeks.... here's the email and pic she sent me today:

Quote:
Your Daytona will miss you until January. I took a farewell picture for you!

Love you :)

Sent from my HTC on the Now Network from Sprint!
Really brightened my day quite a bit - I'm so lucky I've got the best wife ever!!!

Great looking watch... How could you leave it in the safety deposit? I tried to put my GMT away, I couldn't do it.

Heading out of town for a couple of weeks - just feel better knowing it's safe. Plus I've got my 5513 that needs some wrist-time!!

Thanks Charles - I'm one lucky dude!!!

You are a lucky man - count your blessings!

Your real problem though is that your vintage Daytona looks better on your wife than on you! :-)

Sunny congrats man, from what I have heard your wife is an awesome person. I take it as we can't meet this Saturday to see John in Georgetown if your going out of town. Have fun bro, give me a call when you get back. I'm thinking 1680 red full set!

David my man!! Thanks - she is the best!! Yeah this sat doesn't look good for me bro - sorry. If you're looking for a full set 1680 dude, the guy I bought my 6263 from has a meters 1st MK1 for sale.... full set of course.

He told me in all his years of collecting he's only handled 3 of these MK1's - this from a guy who's vintage collection consisted of 10-15 62XX daytona's and COUNTLESS red subs - he wrote the red sub dissertation!!

Let me know if you're interested... and I can hook you 2 up.

Annnd a big thanks to everyone else for the wonderful comments!!!
