2010: A good year for watches

Hi All

During 2010 I decided to sell off three Omega Seamaster watches and reinvest the money into a Submariner (16610) and GMT Master II (116710LN). I am sure many of you will agree the move from Omega to Rolex was a great move. That said I haven't given up on Omega completely, I will be looking to acquire a Speedmaster Date in 2011.

Definitly a good move...I have two omegas..one is a family heirloom bought by my dad in the war when stationed in switzerland....would never sell for this reason...
the other is a speedmaster...A fine watch but nothing to get silly about imo....but Rolex's are a different breed altogather.....HOWEVER I have never tryed a number of omegas, so i dont want to generalize too much about them....

Looking for a chronograph and while I like the Daytona I am loathed to pay the prices for one. Having looked around I think the Omega Speedmaster is the most likely choice. After that who knows but I may go vintage

Perhaps I should've mentioned that I too had a great 'watch-year' in 2010 acquiring both my current pieces.

I'm hoping (fellow TRF member) Marke's going to be able to get me a great deal on a Sub' LV early in 2011 but if he can't then it'll be 2012 before I can afford to go shopping again.

The Xezo wasn't around long but was a nice while it lasted. Lots of functions for not much $$.
