Icon10 My First Rolex...

I picked up a new Milgauss with white face (V) and I've got to say I'm very impressed in every way with the watch. The watch has a great look on and I know it doesn't scream classic Rolex, but that's what I was after. I'm 28 and I wanted a Rolex that was less "classic Rolex" (not to offend anyone, my next one will be, classic) and something I haven't seen outside of an AD. I know the Milgauss does have a history that makes it a classic in it's own right, but the newer design really talked to me. The size and weight of the watch is just right for me even though I have what I would consider a smaller wrist. Oh and I forgot to mention that I really like orange!

Here are some pics as requested and I added some of my other toys in too.

Congrats on the purchase. I just bought my first modern Rolex, a classic two tone datejust, so I know you will enjoy your new watch.

I'm doing it backwards though as I will be buying an Explorer next month. Classic first only because I found a deal that was too good to pass up.

Congrats on the watch. As you can see I list a Green Millie as my daily watch but my son, home from college, took it and left me his submariner. Like them both but mis the Milgauss.

Yeah I use the bike for both TT and Tri's...I have all kinds of wheels, zipp sub-9, 808s, 404s, 202s (for road and crit races).

Since I'm set on bike stuff I'm hooked on Rolex now....from one expense to the next, right?
