FO647/1 Festina Automatic Chronograph
I posted this a few minutes ago but it contained a link to a site that was selling the same model watch discussed so it may not post. My mistake, I am new here. The link was purely for illustrative purposes. below is my post without the link. Any information anyone can provide would be appreciated. Stock photo of watch is attached.
Does anyone know anything about this watch (FO647/1 Festina Automatic Chronograph) ? I purchased recently from old stock at a jeweler in the caribbean. They gave me the wrong manual so there is little I know. It was sold as 18K but after taking to local jeweler to be tested I discovered the case is 18K, the center (polished) links are 18K but the outer (brushed) links are apparently Staniless (according to the jeweler who tested it). The movement is Valjoux 7750 and I have found a few websites which still have this watch listed but all list as 18K, not 18K/Saainless. If anyone knows more about this watch I would appreciate the info because as of now I am not sure what I have purchased. Thanks in advance... Savannahman |
