Yachtmaster SS/PT vs. TT Submariner ???

Ok guys what do you think. I'm looking to pick up either a SS/PT Yachtmaster or a TT Submariner- non maxi case, probably Black/SS. Would most likely be pre-loved circa 2000 to 2008. In exploring TRF it appears either could be had for about the same money @ $5000 - $5500 in excellent condition complete w/ box, papers, etc.

So for the same $$ What's your pick- a similar age/condition Platy YM or TT Sub ?? I've always liked both watches and keep flopping back and forth between them. Watch will be worn exclusively in casual Tommy B. kind of clothes here in FL. Have a GMT Master II and PAM 25 which are great, but looking to add another Rolex.
