Considering SS black dial Daytona; please advise
Hello,
I have been looking for black dial SS Daytona for a while now; this is going to be my first Rolex so I don't have my own AD. I live in Nor Cal and I have visited several local dealers, dealers in SF, Chicago, LA etc. Everyone's response was the same- "Good luck...". I do have a friend whose brother owns a big jewelry store out of state. I don't think he is an AD although my friend claims that he is (I looked on his website and did not see any Rolex watches or mention that he is an AD). He is willing to sell me a black dial Daytona for $10,800 no tax since its coming from out of state. My friend said he would put the purchase on his credit card, I will get the watch and take to a local AD to get it checked for authenticity and only then pay for it. What do you guys thick? I don't like this 3 party transaction approach but I am not seeing any other way to get a SS Daytona from a AD. Any advice is appreciated. |

Look I the classified section here.
You can also call the Wynn Rokex shop. They often have Daytonas. |

I would contact some of the reputable TRF sellers about the watch, and see if they can arrange something for you.
$10,800 is not a bad price as $10,400 retail + tax would probably take it above $11K, but I think you should be able to get a better deal from TRF sellers, plus you can be assured the transaction will be almost flawless!!

if you want to check if it's an AD look on the Rolex site, online shops are not allowed to show Rolexes for sale.
