I have no experience but just based on the area, I'd expect an AD in Greenwich to be top notch. I wouldn't advise going in there looking for any major discounts though.

Bettridge Jewelers..1/3 of the way down Greenwich Ave on the left

Ask for Bart. He is very knowledgable. He used to own his own watch store in Westport.

I just bought a DJ II from him 2 weeks ago and he was very helpful

I did some price shopping and found their prices competitive. He did offer me a discount without asking:)

Go to David Harvey Jewelers in Norwalk, CT. Its just a few miles away from Greenwich but well worth it. They have just about every model in stock and have great service.

Lenox Jewelers of Fairfield

Lenox Jewelers of Fairfield is an AD not too far from Greenwich.
They have a decent selection in stock and the staff was friendly when I went in. I'm not sure about discounts, but it is another option.

Don't know if they are still in Greenwich or not, but I purchased my TT Daytona from Lux, Bond & Green in July 2000. I got a small discount & it was a very pleasant experience.

The only issue I had is that they have a company policy that they keep the green hang tag.
