comfort me......please!
on my way home from work i went in to my AD to enquire about my Sea Dweller, its been gone for 5 weeks for a service and crystal change, only to be told that it could take another 3 weeks to return home to me.
i feel like it has been gone for an eternity, i feel like i should be howling at the moon for its loss. is this normal? or am i really that sad? |

Ooops! SORRY! I wanted to gently pad you on your head with my gentle hands, but there is no smiley for that, so I had to go a bit more rough Anyway, you get the meaning. Let's have a beer or two and you will forget about your SD for a while :-)

I am hoping that, unlike my SD, when I get it back it will be nice and safe in a rolex service box and not simply wrapped in bubblewrap!!!! |

Good grief, Nick....I'd heard the RSC in Sydney was slow and expensive...but that is somewhat over the top..

This is why some people swoon and buy a new one so they won't be lonely during the servicing period.

I think I'm lucky that live in Jakarta...I brought my TT Yachtmaster to RSC Jakarta last year to be completely serviced and overhauled (according to RSC Jakarta, YM Bezel cannot be refinnisihed, they will only have it cleaned)... The price was IDR 3,000,000,- (USD 333) and I received my watch back within 2 weeks in a mint condition... Regards,

LOL! If you need 3 million of your currency for just US$333, how many suitcases of cash would you need if you had to buy a new car?
Cheers - JJ
