When did this Forum Start?

As a Member of the forum for three months AND getting that lovely Platinum color with my name, I was wondering...
When did the Forum start and who started it?
From what I can tell there are over 50,000 member now which is a marvelous thing.
So who is member number uno?

Thank you Numi. It looks like a member's list is in number order. I guess I am not computer savvy enough to know how to do that.

A few months before I joined.
If you take away the test accounts etc, I was member 87.

Its the members that make TRF what it is today, plus help from the admin and mods, most who have been here since almost day one. Just a few short years ago late 2004 early 2005 TRF was first started by Mark we had then just a few loyal members around 35 total. Wow how we have grown over just a few years, so as a forum we must be very proud of what TRF has achieved today, the best Rolex and other watch forum on the net. Have a look at a very old post back from 2005 link below But please guys do not post on the link thread.

Interesting statistic :
12 people joined May 18th 2005 . Amongst them the one and only J.J. and 4 that are now moderators .
This looks like an exodus from another forum .
My question why did J.J. not become moderator . Is he not moderated enough ?

I suggest for J.J. to be named " Honorary Moderator "

I might start to over-moderate!
