116520 f series value???

Hi, I'm wondering what the approx value for my F series 116520 white face is worth? I mentioned trading it in last week for maybe a DSSD, and even tho you all said not to, I think i am going to. It is in excellent condition, and has a full hologram on the back. I have box, no papers though. Purchased from Pollack jewelers in Florida.
I would prefer to trade it rather then just sell it, and the difference if any, in cash either to me or from me. I'm thinking the DSSD, GMTc or some Panerai.
Thanks for the help!

MMM - without papers I'd say a little less. 8,500 sounds fair to me. Pics always help

Did you polish the watch? It looks like it has been (but could be wrong of course...). If you did - did you do the bezel...?

Watch looks polished; Pollack's is a watch reseller with a store in Sawgrass Mills Mall in Hollywood, FL and also sells on eBay. They deal in pre-owned pieces. I recall feedback some time ago on them in who's/who.

Without a box, books or papers I would not see an F series reselling in the $8's and a trade value would even be lower IMO.

Absolutely! I purchased a pre-owned V still wrapped from the AD named on the warranty card for $9k and a M serial worn less than 6 times for $8k from an original owner.

An F serial would be 6 - 8 yrs old and considering Daytonas didn't sit in the case at all back then, it's due for full RSC service at a cost of $850 - $1k, so a buyer will have to factor that into the purchase price. I would not value any service performed by the reseller's watchmaker. Fully serviced by RSC with a 2 yr warranty card would value it somewhere in the mid $8k range IMO.
