Pre owned Submariner with date (16610)
Hi - a friend of mine is looking at purchasing a 'pre owned' submariner with date, could you give me an idea of what she needs to look for and some reputable dealers in the U.K?
I.e. is a 2003 model more desireable than a 1996 (the 1996 has been serviced twice at a Rolex Service centre). Are some prefixs worth more than others. £3300 seems about the going rate, does that seem correct? Thanks in advance? |

Only difference between -96 and -03 would be small cosmetic changes, such as the dials lume. The -96 dial's lume (glow in the dark) will be mostly shot, while the -03 model will most likely glow nice and bright.
Given the -96 model has been serviced twice at RCS, to an unserviced -03 model I would take the -96 given it's in a nice condition.
