Hi and welcome to TRF. You might want to resize them down to around 800 x 800....we've received a few complaints from satellites orbitting the stratosphere!!

That's a beauty, pal....the only one I have at present. Why are you selling it?

Cheers - JJ

Oh, ok, my apologies, I didnt know there were rules to the size of the images. I shall resize next time I post. I just like to enjoy the full blown photos with such clarity. :) I like to buy and sell the watches as a hobby. My old man is jeweler so I like to switch it up often. I will have photos of a mother of pearl diamond dial datejust later tonight. :)

Hmmm..... 5 posts and selling an expensive Rolex in the Watch Gallery instead of in the For Sale forum where a person has to be a member for at least 15 days and have at least 15 posts............

I love hooking my laptop up to my 32" (widescreen) samsung. It looks perfect cause the laptop is widescreen.

Great for watching movies off the computer

Alcan, I am not yet selling. I'm not here to break or bend any rules, just here to learn and offer anything I have for the rolex community. My father owns a small jewelry shop in Atlantic City, which CJ knows of. Mod has already informed me of the rules and I have already ackowledged of them. This is afterall, the watch gallery, so is what I'm doing, posting quality pictures wrong? Please inform me, because if I am breaking any rules, I will stop posting pictures. I have just taken some beautiful DJ pictures, but I will hold off posting until I get an OK..

Alcan, what am I doing wrong? I am posting pictures because we are, afterall, in a picture gallery. I'm not here to bend or break any rules. I'm here to to learn and chit chat about the time pieces. My father owns a small shop in Atlantic City, which I had spoke to CJ about, which he knows of. I was jsut about to post pictures of a beautiful DJ i took pictures of, but I will hold off, until I get the OK.

Sorry Tai cannot agree with just check out these great pictures by Mike, and all less than 800X800.In reality you don't need huge pictures to see all the details on watches just sharp well composed pictures to start with.

Thnx even I love HUGE pics as they come with the minutest details but unfortunately according to the posting rules my pictures are oversized.

Well, Ashu...not only oversized, but also way outside the parameters of most computer monitors....and blurry too.

Keep them at 800 x 800 and you will get the best picture clarity....like this one, for example!!

Well, I liked them as they looked crisp on both my widescreen computers. And I sometimes hook my laptop (MacBook Pro) to my 37" HDTV. Beautiful stuff. And those were really great pics too.

Does it automatically resize to 800x800? It's a pain resizing and hosting the pic, then posting.. :(

Ahhhh, the downside of posting photos! No auto resizing.

Agreed, Peter. One gets into the habit of doing that FIRST, and just hosting the correct size to begin with.
