What if every watch lover wanted ONLY a Rolex?
Scary thought, uh?
Can you guys imagine what would happen if every watch lover on earth shunned all the other brands out there....and wanted just the one brand - ROLEX!! What a topsy turvy world we'd be living in then, right? Why the hell did I start up this stupid thread?

JJ, my friend, you could put that disclaimer in most of your threads.

You're describing a perfect world for me, big fella. The bottom would drop out of the market for Harry Winston and Patek Phillipe, and I'd be able to put these two beaters beside my Timex's:

If EVERYONE had a Rolex, the brand would "die" in no time. Rolex simply wouldn't be interesting anymore. Just my 2 cents.

Rolex quality would eventually go down if that were the case!

In that case, we'd have to chuck 90% of our stock into the Tasman Sea!!

I wonder, would prices then go down or up? Just think, Citizen alone manufactures around 5,000,000 watches a month--add the other manufacturers and you would have an awful lot of Rolex watches out there.
