FSOT (reluctantly): Zenith Striking 10th
I have a little too much for comfort tied up in this watch and work is quiet at present, so I'm reluctantly putting it up for sale or trade with a value of £5k (list is £7.4k) including RMSD insured to £2.5k; any overseas transaction will need to cover the additional costs for insured international delivery, which are likely to be in the order of £75-100.
The watch is three months old, warranty extended to 3 years, and obviously complete as supplied by WoS who are an authorised Zenith dealer. With regard to trades, I'm interested in an IWC Ingenieur or Portuguese, Dornblueth, JLC, perhaps an Explorer 39mm or Milgauss (but no other Rolex), or something unexpected that sits between tool and dress in terms of style. Condition must be excellent to mint with a realistic value (I'm hoping to clear £2.5k minimum in cash in a trade deal). I'm in no rush, and would obviously be happy to keep this beauty as the chances of picking up another one are remote. I may also be coming into a BNIB bracelet soon, and if I do it will likely be very cheap; I'm willing to pass that on at cost if you want it (just waiting to hear back from Zenith, in fact). All of these photos were taken today. The watch is mint save for the usual faint hairlines on the polished case side (through wear with cuff links, I imagine) that would polish out in a nanosecond. Finally, I have tons of references on TZ-UK and TURF - just the one on here but I'll happily provide as many referees as required to those who don't know me. A F2F in or around London would obviously be ideal.
