FS: Zenith Rainbow Flyback Chronograph
The Zenith Rainbow Chronograph has developed something of a cult following since it was discontinued in 2001 and they are getting hard to find in good condition. For those of you unaware, Zenith’s el Primero movement was used by Rolex for the Daytona for many years, until replaced by Rolex with an in house movement in 2000. This model features Zenith’s flyback movement. The chronograph resets to zero and auto-restarts when the four o’clock pusher is depressed while the chronograph mechanism is running.
This watch is in near mint condition, showing only the faintest marks on the case back. The strap shows some wear on the lining. The movement has been fully serviced and is under warranty until 03/15/2012. All complications function correctly. The watch is running at an average of +2.1 sec/day with a delta of 5.5, chrono off: +1.0 sec/day with a delta of 5.4, chrono on.
