Which is best best Rolex AD in SFO and how much % off should I expect?
I'll be in SFO for Google I/O next month.
I was wondering which are the best Rolex ADs in SFO and how much % off list price should I expect.

As for the discount, it all depends on the watch you want. SS doesn't discount as highly as TT, and TT not as highly as all gold/jeweled models.
And then it depends on the individual model you want. Some are in less demand and therefore ADs are far more willing to discount to move. The newest releases/most popular models are often hard to get a substantial discount on at an AD. Best of luck with your search. |

Jade Galore is a great Rolex AD. I don't know how much discount you can get but they are nice people and willing to negotiate.
Good luck and happy hunting.

I think the OP was pulling our legs...There are no ADs at the San Francisco Airport (SFO). Seriously... as a non customer, you will have no discount and like it. ( Don't ask if anyone sleeps with their Rolex, or which is better, a Sub Date or No Date... " In San Francisco you have Turdneau and Shreve. Service is horrendous and the sales folks are not very knowledgeable. The Rolex store operated by Turdneau has a small selection....a little better than Shreve. Expect zero % off on stainless steel sports models. No idea on precious metal watches. A little anecdote...I once asked a salesclerk at Turdneau..."I don't suppose you have an SS Daytona in stock / back in the safe?" They said, "Oh no...and even if we did, we would only sell it to a VIP." |

Many variables can affect it, the model your looking for, approach, how much inventory on hand,
Age of the particular watch But generally most bay area will not discount much. |

Bill's correct. There are no AD's in SFO (the airport.) As for the city itself, Bill's also correct. I've been to "Turdneau" a few times and when I brought up the topic of a discount, even when paying with cash, they turned me down. Big-box stores are famous for this, as are stores located in large cities that cater to tourists. For the best deal, try driving an hour or so away from the city and visiting a local, mom-and-pop AD. They give discounts - In this economy, most can't afford to turn business away.
Across the GG Bridge there's Juliana's Jewelry in the Corte Madera shopping center. They've got a great selection for a small AD, and for the right model they'll swing you a deal. Another AD, about an hour north, is Bennett Valley Jewelers. These guys are also a small AD and the service is great. They negotiate too. I bought my GMT-IIc there!
