Possible options to play with my new SubC ?
Hi guys, I got my Sub Ceramic LN for a week now, love it !!! Such a good investment and good looking watch !!!
I spent a few times to look at other topics in TFR and attracted to some things and I got a couple of questions need to ask you Rolex pro. The Green Ceramic Bezel on the 116610 LV : even though the black ceramic is a thing of beauty but the green bezel look is very striking and I really love to see it on my LN sometimes. Hence the questions =>> 1. Can I buy the Green Ceramic Bezel Sub LV somewhere and can it be put into my LN without destroying my new LN ? just the bezel only. 2. Can the old green NON-ceramic bezel be used with the new Ceramic Sub C LN I have ? ( I love my SubC LN and I also like the options to change things around for fun, you know , it's like having 2 watches ) Questions about the GMT IIC: 1: Can the new Glidelock fit into the GMT IIC . Cos the Glidelock I have on this SubC LN is AMAZING !!!! and I probably want to buy the GMT IIC sometimes in the future so I would like to know in advance. 2. About the PEPSI Bezel: I love the PEPSI bezel on the GMT, so want to find some guidance for the future sale =>> can you guys tell me where can I get one , how much I'm looking for, and which model is most valuable ( which year for example ) any things I need to look out for ? Advice please guys !!!! Many thanks in adv, Steve. |

Hi Steve..
1/ Yes, it would fit but the hardest part would be to acquire it! 2/ No, the mechanics behind the old bezel are not the same as the new ceramics! 3/ Yes, it will fit, but you would need to polish the center of the buckle to match the band! 4/ From time to time they pop up for sale here (insert only I'm assuming you mean?), in and around $150.

The green ceramic would be very difficult to source, and you would be looking at around $1000 complete. And the cost of getting someone to fit it, modern day Rolex watches should not be thought of as any sort of investment.
