what ya guys think about this?
what if someone ordered a blue subc dial and bezel insert and put it on their ss subc? it would be possible and you would get the same look without spending all that money on the WG model... plus, everything would remain orignal rolex.
i put a wg dial in my SS daytona and it looks great, its the panda. but im wondering if anyone has done this with their new subc? i would love to see a pic of anyone has one |

I think it's a great idea if you could swing it...and that's one sharp looking Daytona you got there!!

The parts would certainly fit and I think you have the look. Don't how hard it would be to get the parts though and it could never go to RSC for service.

you need an arrow bezel to complete the "look" on the Daytona... BTW finding a blue ceramic sub bezel is harder to find than... well I don't think there is anything harder to find....

Gotta be difficult to get your hands on, I bet a lot of subc owners would love to add the blue bezel (at least I would)

To me, if you do the blue dial, blue bezel, you're just a poser-wannabe. If you just do the bezel, that's OK IMHO. |

Yeah it would fit perfetcly... as mentioned the major troubles would be obtaining the blue dial and insert... I am thinking you are talking 2-4k if you can find them somewhere And also as mentioned NEVER send it to RSC without going back to factory.
I for one would leave the watch alone, buy SS or WG

I wanted to keep the ss bezel, didn't ever cross my mind to pass my daytona off as the wg, I just love the panda dial.

Let's see a glowing lume shot. My really only rolex complaint, limited SS daytona dials.

I do like the look of the sub with blue insert....but for some reason I'm still a bit of a purist with these mods...and wouldn't do it myself. Just would feel wrong to me.....not sure what that's about...I'll get back to you

Well "Mitchy"...I kept it standard as it's still SS with dial as intended for that model.....so tuck it in
