ohh Bruins/Habs should be an interesting matchup ... someone is getting killed for sure! I am cheering against Habs here as they eliminated us last year. Black and yellow unite.

Crosby might not be back in time. That is the story of the playoffs for me. It is a shame when the world's best player is unable to play.

Go Blackhawks! They backed into the playoffs, but that doesn't matter now.

I don't care which team you're a fan of, everyone has GOT to be pumped to watch the Habs VS. Bruins series. Original six action with lots of controversy earlier this year to help boost the drama!

Very Cool - based on a previous hockey thread I think there are more than a few Wings fans here on TRF.

You are absolutely right about Zetterberg. Then we need to have everyone healthy and be firing on all cylinders (pun intended) for the duration

Talking about injuries ... will be interesting to see how Penguins will do in the playoffs without Crosby/Malkin/Cooke/Neal/Jeffrey

Being a Wings fan this is a bit hard to say... but Vancouver has been pretty damn good this year! I am sure all Canucks fans are rightfully proud of what they have accomplished.

That said if we meet during the playoffs it should be one hell of a match up!

Lets go hawks! We suffered for decades till we got our cup, I'd like to keep it.

I went to that disaster of a game on Sunday, let's hope it opened the team's eyes in time...

Well I didn't think it was a disaster. In fact, I wish we had won the one on Friday night as well!! Oh... and damn you Minnesota

Wait...did I just say that outloud? It was meant to be a "thought bubble"

Of course, it is good for the game that the defending champions are actually back to defend. I am just not sure that opening up against Vancouver is exactly a sigh of relief. One thing is for certain with the Stanley Cup playoffs - anything can and will happen. Just look at Philly last year. So good luck hockey fans

Man, this is my favorite time of year sportswise.

You can't seem to beat us at Joe Louis. But then again, you can't even get fans to show up at the games... I hope we see you in the conference final. Any given night you can beat us but in a best of seven, you don't stand a chance...
