Today was the day...
Happy Birthday to me!!!
I'm totally in love. It took me a while to finally make my decision between the Sub-Date, LV, and white-face Ex-II, but the minute I found out these bad boys were going to start disappearing it was a no-brainer. It's a great opportunity to own an instant classic. The case size looks and feels perfect on my wrist...it's light, comfortable and easy to read. I didn't need to change any pins or remove/add any links. It was spot-on right out of the box. Everything I need, nothing I don't. It's my first-ever Rolex and I will definitely cherish it forever. Thanks to everyone on this forum for all their depth of Rolex knowledge, encouraging words and opinions....it's made finally owning this beauty that much better. Quick question: I'd like to collect the other two bezel inserts for this straight away. Not only am I confident that I'll swap them out pretty regularly, it will be nice to have them for "historical" purposes as well. What's the best way to go about getting them? Thanks again for everything...I promise more pics soon! |

Ruben,
You made a great choice, then again I am biased since the GMT is the only watch I own. Tom |

That's awesome, Ruben Congratulations You know it's my favorite For the bezels, if your local Ad can't help out, try Cayce at http://www.preownedrolex.com/. If they aren't listed, send him an e-mail. I bought my GMT and extra bezel from him. The guy is a class act

Congrats Ruben, that sharp edged case with brushed lugs and no lug holes looks great on your wrist, no doubt you must be feeling very happy indeed. Happy Birthday from the Forum Administration! (I guess that means me)

Fantastic, classic mans watch What more do you need ?
Having now seen the pictures of the new green SS GMTII, I much prefer the look of the old "red hand" version........... I hope to be joining the red hand club in about three months time.....depending on how well my luck holds at the bookies |
