Icon8 Rolex: too good to be true

Hi

I intend to bid on a very beautiful rare vintage Rolex watch. It is my dream-watch but after checking its market-value, I have decided to forget about it.

However, tonight I discover my dream watch is going for a song, on a popular auction site.

How do I know, should I become the eventual winner of the auction and after making the payment, I will ever get the watch? I have asked for additional pictures but there was no response.

This is the link of the auction which has only a few more hours, before it ends.

Your kind advice will be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Pay through Pay Pal funded through a credit card, not bank account for the ultimate in protection. EBay is very buyer friendly, not so much seller friendly. So it's stacked in your favor as a buyer. As far as pictures go, it never ceases to amaze me how some sellers post too few or of poor quality, so yes, that is a concern.

Hi

Thanks for your response and advice.

As long as he does not send me a few more pictures of the watch, I shall refrain from bidding, however tempting it may be.

I shall take your kind advice to open an account with PayPal, if this is going to be of benefit to me, as a buyer.

I am always worried about the two pictures coming from elsewhere and not the actual watch for sale. Otherwise, taking a few more extra pictures for me to see is not a big deal.

Thank you.

Hi

Thanks for the response and so is my monitor. Very likely, my eye-sight needs attention.

Importantly, I do not think he knows what he is talking about. Anyway, I shall keep on observing the bids that come in.

Thank you.
