Datejust TT Jubilee Bracelet Concern
I recently purchased a 16233 from Cayce Faque over at www.preownedrolex.com
I’m certain the watch is authentic, I just have concerns about the bracelet, because I’m only used to SS models and just wanted to make sure everything looked cool with this one. Here are some pictures of the bracelet. The biggest thing that stands out is a small sideways “8” on the 12 o’clock tube end of the bracelet that connects to the clasp. Is this normal on a TT Jubilee? The hinge also doesn’t have a finished rivet. But I have SS authentic bracelets that do not either. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I tried to attach the best pictures i could to help. I thought Cayce was good to work with. Per a previous post of mine here, I was told by a few of you that he was a safe person to do business with, but you just never know these days. Thanks. |

I can't answer your question, but just wanted to say how amazing that dial looks on a TT DJ. I don't think I've ever seen that combo. Simply stunning.

Thanks, it took me a while to find a black tapestry dial DJ. Something about it i've alwasys love. Gives a nice three dimensional look.
I'm really hoping I can get thumbs up on the bracelet :) Thanks Last edited by aleiberman; 28 April 2011 at 09:13 PM.. Reason: Notify |

Ahh....relief. Ok great. I just got nervous about what appeas to be a sideways "8" on the clasp tube connected to the last link on the 12 O'clock side. In all the things we're told to look for on clasps and bracelets, this one has never come up before, so I got nervous I had a marking that shouldn't be there. I'm also not familiar with TT bracelet's. I've only owned SS.
Thanks! |
