Anyone know of where a Milgaus is for sale yet? Due to a new job I am taking, might be very benificial to have an anti-magnetic watch. Working with some very strong electronic/x ray systems.

Considering IWC Ingenieur or Mark XVI as well.

According to my rep, I should have the new collection of watches sometime this June, I am not sure if Milgaus will be one of them, though. I have, however, already received the price list for all the new Rolex'.

How does an x-ray system affect an automatic watch? I would have thoguth such fields would be pretty weak, and should not affect mechanics too much.

If they do, by how much?

Very powerful xray machines, generators, communication equipment and other electroniic equipement.

Thanks SBT that's a very interesting article.

I thought that the theory behind the Milgauss was that the inner case made from a bronze like material was conductive in nature and formed a Faraday Cage and that shielded the movement from electromagnetic radiation.

The Casio G-Shock Mudman also has worldtime with 0.5Hour and is very tough and antimagnetic
