I wonder if its possible to remove the diver extension on the bracelet of 14060M and replace it with a link that fit the clasp?

You then take the diver extension including the link that attaches to the bracelet half off; replace that link with one with a tube for the clasp springbar (from another clasp) and you're in business... Seems like a lot of expense though, and then you have a worthless clasp and a divers extension left over...... unless you can source that link from someplace, ..

right, i guess i probably is not going to be cheap. i don't know if it would worth the cost of doing that.
just that i starting thinking replacing the diver extension will eliminate some of the rattle |

If youthink the divers extension rattles take it in to your AD and they can probably do something to tighten it. I have an old tag that had a similar clasp that had a "loose" diver's extension and the ad pinched the clasp in a bit and voilą no more looseness. (mine didn't rattle, but it would cause the clasp to suddenly open up if I was clapping vigorously for instance)

If you want to see if it's the source of your rattle, put some electrical tape over the extension and wear it that way for awhile. I will be surprised if you find that it is rattling, it's more likely that the entire bracelet is the source.
I would suggest looking for an alternative bracelet (without diver's extension) on eBay or the classifieds on this site. Either save your current bracelet in case you decide to sell the watch, or sell it to pay for the new one. Modifying a bracelet as you suggest would make it almost worthless. |

NATO? Cheap and cheerful, saves your bracelet in unmodified condition...

The 14060 is known for its bracelet rattle. Some people actually like it. Are you sure it is the diver's extension that is making the noise. Usually it is the hollow end links.
