Leather and NATO straps on SubCs; Spring bar tool from hardware shop?

Before I get flamed - yes, I used the search function.

I have now had my SubC for nearly a week and love it more and more everyday. Simply phenomenal watch. Incredibly comfortable, keeps perfect time and I am getting a surprising number of compliments on a watch I thought might go unnoticed (I chalk it up to the reflectiveness of the face/crystal and cerachrom insert).

That said, I am beginning to look at how I can switch up straps on this thing down the line (still enjoying that perfect bracelet - perfect might even be an understatement).

I was curious as to whether anyone has pictures of their SubC on leather and / or NATO straps. I have seen some pics on NATOs, although some were good and some bad (I can only seem to find the ones I don't like via search function).

In addition, is there are more cost effective tool to buy for changing straps? At my AD (which is a very high end shop) they suggested going to Canadian Tire (hardware store) and buying a very fine flat head screw driver.

Thoughts on any or all of the above? Pictures?

You would be better off getting a real watchmakers tool for spring-bar/bracelet removal.
"Bergeon" makes great spring bar tools.
Check out "Ofrei.com"
Have your watch maker show you how to do it & be sure to use masking tape to cover area around the spring bars so you don't scratch the watch.
