please help value this watch.. 16248

hi folks,

apologies if this is the wrong forum..

i was collecting my sub from my watchmaker today (was having a serti dial fitted- looks great!), and we had a good long chat about all things rolex etc.

we got on the subject of 18k day-dates as i told him i was interested in buying a 18k with president and fluted bezel, in the future.

he told me he had a watch in the safe belonging to a customer, the customer was looking to sell.. would i be interested in buying he asked..

i had a look at it, and i think im going to buy it.. but, at a price..

please can you value this watch for me.. i may buy it to wear for a while then sell on if the price is right..

the watch in question is a..

1991 E serial, Datejust 16248, quickset, sapphire crystal.
18k yellow gold, 8210 bark jubilee bracelet, bark bezel, gold stick dial.

i do not have a picture of it, but it looks like this.. (sorry, not a good picture)..

can anyone tell me what i would expect to pay for this watch here on TRF or from a grey dealer.

many thanks
