Need a good ammo type strap for 111
Show me what you have. I prefer the 24/22, but am still looking for the one for me. I favor the JV on my 111 most of the time and usually prefer gators, but want to branch out to the ammo type.

Rob Montana.......www.strapsmith.com
Or David Lane........davidlane-design.com Those 2 are the best in the states IMO for Panerai straps. Check out their websites both do great work! |

+1 Another vote for Micah (vintagerstraps). Excellent customer service. Top notch straps.

Many great makers.
Micah, Kevin/BigB, Ted Su, Rob Montana are the best known. David at Indy Straps just made me a custom ammo that I absolutely love.

In addition to Rob Montana, I like Ted Su and Greg Stevens. I like the large PIG buckles from Heroic18. (more than their straps) :)

Another vote for Ted Su. I picked up a French ammo, and will probably pick up a Swedish ammo too.

I went for Simona
I pulled the trigger on a Simona Toscano. Maybe not a conventional "ammo," but Im digging the strap so far and the quality is .
This is the honey color and is supposed to patina into a nice golden brown - looking forward to it. Pardon the iphone pic.

actual Picture of the Paolo18 strap on my PAM 359 which I mentioned in my earlier post
i really like that the stitch perfectly matches the faux patina of the dial... the strap looks 100x better in person. my picture does not do justice to the strap unfortunately, you have to see it live. |

You just got to try them and figure it out. You won't know until you see them. If you are unsure, buy a used one and sell it if you don't care for it. Good luck.
