Pam 164i

Hey Guys -

I was wondering what your thoughts were on picking up a PAM 164I for $3800? Good deal or not?

The watch was just serviced, but is missing box and papers. I am figuring if I want to make it complete I am going to shell out $300-$400 for boxes.

From my quick search (may not reliable, but just check it out for your price references);

From TRF (about 2 yrs ago) complete B&P:

From P.com (this year) "NO" B&P:

Again, I guess it's depend on who are you going to get it from.
From a dealer, I think it's an ok price, I guess.

But, The watch has just been recently serviced, right?
So, that's come with another 1 year warranty with no COSC, no papers, no boxes, no all of the goodies...Hmm

Anyway, Do a little research for the price then, so you'll know at what price you're really willing to pay/worth to pay for.

For 'hundreds" more, you will likely locate a an L or M series with factory warranty as well as all the boxes and papers. A worthwhile investment, as finding the correct boxset is not always easy, and is always expensive. Having no papers eliminates too many people from the buying pool (IMO) when it comes time to resell. Good luck.

I'd pay a little extra and get the ones with complete stuff. The price you're getting is not a complete bargain anyway, so I'd pass on it. It's not a bad price though, but I'd spend a little more and have the pleasure of having a complete set.
