Icon6 well finally have a worthy watch in my collection

hello everybody!
im new here, and i must say im liking this forum, looks like there are lots of great people here and also very knowledgeable people as well.
lets start with the basics, my name is Adrian and im 17. im in 11th grade. I love anything mechanical, and specially fine watches, they are just amazing and it seems the older and more knowledgeable i grow, the more i appreciate fine watches as the functional work of art that they really are. I have a couple watches none of them over $300. (keep in mind im 17 and a full time student).
well since this school year is pretty much over and i got straight A's 5.7 GPA
my parent wanted to get me a nice present. and since i already have a car... i decided to see if they would approve of a nice watch AKA Rolex.
sooo.... we went down to a local jewelry shop thats is also a certified Rolex dealer and i settled on a beautiful pre-owned Yacht-Master. i love this thing to death because its got that classic rolex look. have had it for 3 days and man o man, the other watches on my collection are gonna start collecting dust

here are some crappy pics i took with my iPhone as i dint feel like looking for my good camera.

I'd love to welcome you to the forum Adrian.....
But I think you know as well as I do, that your watch is a fake..

What makes you say that? And would a "certified"'shop sell a fake?
That is not right, and if its a fake i need to go have a talk with the shop.
Thanks for the honesty sleddog, and imhonestly believed itwas real, mostly because of where i bought it.

Interesting to see how this pans out. If you got it from a reputable dealer, you should have no problems. All the best in getting your money back

Lack of answers and to say a certified Rolex AD sold this watch is total BS!

out of curiosity where was that shop based in? i remember in bali there was a shop which name was "bagus watch" and they even had outlets all over kuta area. so it was interesting to see how different countries market their stores.

The individual should've just settled for his $300 watch (assuming it's real of course).

i wonder if 944T stands for a porsche 944 turbo.

if it is, i bet its not a turbo, but it has the stickers.

cold, but he knows this watch is a fake.
