Well..the lurking is over
Hi guys, Ive been hovering around the site for quite a while and for some reason only got around to registering today. I've been a member of the TZUK site for a few years and enjoy the banter and advice that Ive had there and hope the same from the Rolex Forums. Another reason for joining now is that I've more or less rid myself of the generic watch obsession and in recent months have really focused onto Rolex sports, so with that in mind it only seems sensible for me to link up with like minded folk
My wife was asking me the other day abour Skuba diving and I gave her some expert advice based on ...hours of snorkelling whilst on holiday in Greece 25 years ago!..so with that in mind its hard to say why I love subs and seadwellers but the fract is that I keep coming back to them. My first dip in the water was a new Tudor sub back in the mid 90's, then a 16610 replaced that in 2002..today Im wearing a maxi dial 5513 from 1978 and at the weekend collected a cracking triple 6 SD from 1984..so the sickness continues! BTW I have to admit to having a Ploprof from 1972 (which im sure will stay with me for a long time) and a Dornblueth for the odd occasion when I want to wear something that isnt build like a nuclear sub..
