Gen bezel vs. Rep bezel

I purchased this bezel insert on eBay for my GMT II 16710 "Coke." As soon as it arrived, I knew something was fishy.

Here's my Coke bezel vs. what I received from the seller:

I've opened up a eBay/PayPal dispute. Seller insists that it's genuine. Clearly, it's not!

So its missing a bevel / contour?

I take it the bezel doesn't fit?

Yes, the bevel/contour is incorrect. This is a thin, cheap, aftermarket bezel that can be purchased for $15.
All I wanted was a genuine black bezel for my GMT II 16710.

i assumed you paid with paypal, right??? they will take care of you, no worries. the inserts are becoming harder to get now. i was at the rsc in sf a few weeks ago with a buddy, and i got a new pepsi insert. the guys told me the aftermarket parts are affecting their operation and rolex is getting really tight about their parts now. if you want a new insert, they'd have to take the old insert to exchange for a new one.

Hey Roger,

We met at a recent SF GTG.

Thanks for the info. Not great news...but good to know. Will have to take good care of my Coke / Pepsi inserts for my GMTII!

An AD told me the same thing when I purchased a Pepsi, Coke, and Black bezel insert for my 16710 last month.

Seller keeps on insisting that its genuine. They're giving me a hard time, even with the PayPal dispute. How do I report harassment to eBay by a seller?
