A Couple of nice Bulova vintage decos
Here are a couple of nice vintage Bulovas:
Both 10K GF cases. No brassing. Movements running strong. The top one is 17J, 1941. 24 mm wide. The unique bracelet is a B/R 12kGF, no brassing, original to the watch. I bought this watch because of the bracelet. The watch is all original. The bottom one is 21J, 1946. Tank type. 20mm wide. They made them small and elegant in those days. |

Very beautiful watches! I like the second one! It'd look way better with a tan/light brown crocodile strap on board!

They certainly did make them small then. I come across vintage Bulova's all the time at the thrift stores. I don't know who could have worn them.

Those are beautiful. I have my grandfathers, who died in 1951, and it looks almost identical to the second. I've never seen another so similar.

I have a 1964 (m4) Accutron RR, which works great, but the battery doesn't even last a year. I try to wear the watch once or twice a year, but the battery is always dead. When I replace the battery it works great for a short while, then the battery goes dead. The jewler I use says that this is normal, is it? Who can fix this problem?
