Ceramic GMT 116710 or 116713

I'm in the market for a new GMTc, but am really torn between the SS & the TT...
I normally don't pay a lot of attention to the TT models, but the GMT has really caught my eye!

Could you all post photos of your Ceramic TT GMT's for me...I've seen a lot of the SS's so that's not as critical to see...Also, does anyone have a photo of a TT GMT which has had the PCL's brushed? I'm really curious how that would turn-out??

Can you also give me the pros/cons of them (mainly the TT's again)...It won't be a daily wearer, but it will get worn a lot and I'm not always the most careful person at work...How are your TT's holding up (cosmetically)w/a lot of wear?

I've always considered TT Rolex's to be an older man's watch (I'll be 45 this year, so I guess I'm branching into that territory now) but the TT GMTc really has a GREAT look!

Thanks in advance for your help and input...

The TT would be my choice out of the two - I think it's the best TT watch currently in the Rolex line up. Versatile and the colours work so well together.
I wouldn't worry to much about whether it can hold up or not - it's a well made watch that's designed to be worn every day.

Here's a pic taken when I first got it:

I have the all SS, but I agree with Dalip that the G<T TT is the nicest of the TT line-up.

Have the SS but like both. I doubt anyone would try to brush the TT however. It would just look dull. You can't go wrong with either. TT watches tend to catch people's eye more (which I don't particularly like). Just thought I would mention that.

Have both, enjoy both.

Prefer the TT but wear the SS almost daily. It's much more under the radar.

I don't know about brushing, but both watches scratch easily. I scratched up the TT quite easily playing cards on a dinner table on night.

My vote is the SS, but I'm not a huge fan of gold

I really appreciate all your input so far...I previously saw this photo on another thread, and it's the one that really started my desire for the TT!! That's a great wrist shot!
All my watches are SS ot Titanium, so the TT will be a nice addition. I really like the SS GMTc also, so maybe I'll start w/the TT and save the SS for a future purchase...

The legends here have spoken out of the 2 I would go 116713, it's a very solid watch and has a commanding presence on the wrist.

I love the TT gmt, it's one of the top watches on my wish list. However, I would only use it as a vacay watch. The SS is more of an everyday watch for me and is still a great choice, should you decide.

I hit the 45 age club back in February. And for some reason, the TT really speaks to me now. Hey, maybe it means we're getting old. Nah - we probably just have good taste.

There's a LOT of good feedback for the TT here, and I'm really glad since I'm definitely leaning that way!!

Isn't it funny how we group certain type/style/material watches into a certain age-group?? Although the TT GMTc does seem to really break this cycle!

I have always viewed the SS Sports models as the young man's/any man's watch...The TT Sports models, as the 50+ age (I've made my mark watch), the TT dress watches as the 60+ watch, and the Solid Gold Sports or Day/Date as a 60++ (I've had a successful life watch)...

I hope there's a Gold GMT or Sub in the future for me...Hopefully I'll still be around in 15-20yrs!

Since I already have a TT serti sub, I got the SS GMTIIC. If I did not have the TT sub already, the GMT would have been a TT. But as someone else said, the SS flies under the radar. Either way,you will have a darn fine watch!

Never had any desire to own a TT. I was at an AD a couple of days ago and tried on a couple of TT subs and they started to sing. I now can see one in my future. Try them both an one will sing louder than the other.

I love YG, SS, and TT. It's nice to be able to appreiciate and enjoy each. Forget about the age factor, I see it more as being able to be comfortable wearing any of the metals. Based on your own comments in this thread, it seems like the TT ceramic GMT is your obvious choice at this time. I have the SS ceramic GMT and a TT black sub and I love them both. Since your other watches are all SS, why wouldn't you want to give yourself the choice of wear a TT GMT......It is one sharp watch and it sounds like you a ready for something a little different. Good luck deciding!

I've been to the AD and the TT's are yelling at me pretty loud right now too!

I like the look of the new Ceramic Sub TT (The Blue is awesome) a LOT too, but I use the GMT function daily for my flying work, so the GMT will be the one for me! Maybe a YG Sub in the retirement years...

My only Rolex is the SS GMTIIC and I absolutely LOVE it!.....HOWEVER I purchased it when I was 21 years old and could not swing the $ difference for the TT model...so if I had to do it over again I would choose the TT...
