Excessive Heat
I have a Rolex Submariner Ceramic, and I spend long hours in the sun in summer causing my watch to become considerably hot, is this bad for it? Thanks

I live in the desert.......
Next month and themonth after, both my watch and my wrist will see over 100 degres f., most days.. My arms get burned, but my Rolex doesn't seem to care at all ....... I might even wear it over into Death Valley now and then............

in all seriousness, heat or cold does not seem to bother the watch as much as to humans..

As long as you put sunscreen on it so the crystal doesn't get a sunburn.

I Live in Vegas, in the summer months it can easily reach 120 degrees Fahrenheit and my Rolex is in tip top shape. I also workout with it, run with it, wear it while I sleep, wear it in the shower and pool. Oh yeah also I wear in the sauna. So far nothing. So do not worry sir! Wear you Rolex with Pride and Enjoy it!

Rolexes have been put through the freezing in ice then melting and boiling in water on the stovetop. Also going through the dishwasher (temperatures in excess of 200F). No problems.

rolex in heat
i too live in the mojave desert and what the previous members said is correct the only other thing is put a tissue under the watch to soak up sweat or change out the metal bracelet for cotton or leather jack
