Bergeon 6825

It's me again Margaret..........

Can anyone testify\verify from experience, that the eon 6825PF will fit the new sub-c openings to remove the bracelet. I have 6767f and it did not. I filed the forks down, and it will now fit. But I seem to be rather stupid on how to slide the springbar back and apply pressure from the back and removing the bracelet. Therefore, I will be looking into the Bergeon 6825, if it fits and works perfectly. I have looked at the tutorial on here, I guess I just can't do it with the 6767f. So can anyone, beyond the shadow of a doubt assure me the Bergeon 6825 will do the trick? I suppose if it can't I can spend my time and $ running back and forth to a store so they can swap it for me. I just need some help..
Thanks

I had to file down the forks on my 6825-PF when I got mine to use on my Sub-C.

Yes you use the FINE Tip.
It works!
I do it on one side first and then the other.

My recommendation would be to skip the plier-style tool and buy a Bergeon 6111. It is very easy to use and is a perfect fit.

6825 FF (Fine Fork) is what you want to order if you don't want to have to file the forks down to make it fit.

Good to know Jeff. About to place an order for this and a few other small tools having never used one before, just going on information I've read in my research.

Would love the simpler Rolex spring bar tweezer, but that one is hard to find.

It's a great tool once it's modified....but I wasnt happy with having to file on a $100.00+ springbar tool that was advertised to 'work' with Rolex...Ofrei should correct this gaf/error on their website.

Please don't call me Margaret...

You're not "stupid" - it takes some time practicing and holding the watch head so you can control the pressure on the front of the end link while depressing the springbar. The tutorial gives you a way that others have used to do the job, but we're all different so you may discover a way that works for you.

Even with the tool you're asking about, a certain technique is needed - it's easier for some folks and not so easy for others. Practice is free!

In this particular case practice is NOT free. :)
